A Turning of the Season: Honoring the Winter Solstice
Marking the turning of the season from the harvesting and shedding of fall and toward the hibernation and restoration of winter, we observe the Winter Solstice.
In this season, we find ourselves taking cues from the wisdom of nature: slowing down, conserving energy, and replenishing reserves in anticipation of the burst of growth and renewal the future Spring will bring. We spend time in darkness and quiet with a more inward focus and a nurturing of our resiliency.
These rhythms create space and opportunity for contemplation, reflection and stillness. Join Becky Murray as she guides this celebration of the Winter Solstice by weaving together of journaling for reflection, movement to foster fluidity, chanting to call forth the wisdom within, and rest to simply rest.
Please bring a journal or pen/paper.
